Terms of Use

Effective Date: August 16, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of VetVention.com (the “Site”), operated by VetVention IP Creations (“VetVention,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.

Informational Purpose

The Site provides general information concerning VetVention, its mission, developing programs, participation opportunities, and related resources.

Content describing anticipated programs or services may concern programs still under development and may change as VetVention’s organizational structure, funding, policies, and programs develop.

No Legal Advice or Attorney-Client Relationship

VetVention is not a law firm.

Nothing contained on the Site constitutes legal advice. Use of the Site, submission of a website form, communication with VetVention, submission of an expression of interest, or participation in an initial VetVention screening or evaluation process does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Any legal representation offered in connection with a future VetVention program will require a separate engagement with an appropriately licensed attorney or law firm, subject to applicable conflict review, engagement terms, and professional obligations.

Confidential Invention Information

Unless VetVention expressly provides a formal submission process accompanied by specific submission terms, do not transmit confidential, enabling, proprietary, or trade-secret invention information through general contact forms, interest forms, ordinary email, or other general website channels.

The Veteran Inventor Interest form is intended to collect only high-level, non-confidential information.

A future formal invention-intake or technical-review process may include separate terms concerning confidentiality, access, conflicts, review procedures, retention, document handling, and use of submitted information.

No Guarantee of Services or Outcomes

Submission of information to VetVention does not guarantee eligibility, acceptance, funding, professional services, patent assistance, legal representation, filing of a patent application, issuance or validity of a patent, investment, licensing, product development, commercialization, or any other particular result.

VetVention may determine program eligibility and participation according to criteria, available resources, professional availability, funding, and other considerations applicable to the program.

Ownership of Inventions and Submitted Information

Submission of high-level information through a VetVention website form does not, by itself, transfer ownership of an invention to VetVention.

VetVention does not claim ownership of an inventor’s invention merely because the inventor has submitted an expression of interest or other information through the Site.

Any different rights or permissions applicable to a future formal application, technical disclosure, sponsored project, or commercialization arrangement will be described in the specific written terms applicable to that process or relationship.

VetVention Website Content

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and VetVention’s original text, graphics, logos, branding, layout, and other original content are owned by or licensed to VetVention and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Visitors may access and use the Site for lawful informational and personal purposes. No broader license to VetVention trademarks, copyrighted material, or other intellectual property is granted except as expressly authorized in writing or as otherwise permitted by law.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the Site to violate applicable law, interfere with the operation or security of the Site, attempt unauthorized access to systems or information, transmit malicious code, impersonate another person or organization, knowingly submit fraudulent information, or misuse VetVention’s name, trademarks, programs, or services.

Third-Party Professionals and Resources

VetVention may provide information about or connections to attorneys, patent agents, engineers, mentors, organizations, government programs, businesses, or other third-party resources.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, reference to or connection with a third party does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of that party’s services, advice, performance, or results.

Professional service providers remain responsible for their own services and professional obligations.

Third-Party Websites

The Site may link to websites operated by third parties. VetVention does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, privacy practices, terms, products, or services of third-party websites.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its informational content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

VetVention does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VetVention and its directors, officers, founders, employees, volunteers, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of the Site.

Changes to the Site or These Terms

VetVention may revise the Site, its programs, or these Terms as the organization develops.

Material revisions to these Terms will be reflected by updating the Effective Date shown above.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent another law is required to apply.
