Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 16, 2026
Introduction
VetVention IP Creations (“VetVention,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of visitors to VetVention.com. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect through the website, how we may use and share that information, and the choices available to website visitors.
Information You Provide
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide through website forms, email, surveys, or other communications.
Depending on the form or communication, this information may include your name, email address, telephone number, organization, state of residence, military-service-related information you choose to provide, broad non-confidential information about an invention or project, and the contents of your message.
VetVention’s public interest and contact forms are not intended for confidential, enabling, proprietary, or trade-secret information concerning an invention. Please do not submit confidential invention information through general website forms or ordinary email.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit or interact with the website, VetVention and its service providers may collect technical information associated with your visit or submission. This may include information such as your IP address, browser or device type, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from network information, and other technical information used for website operation, security, spam prevention, analytics, and performance.
Website Forms
VetVention uses website forms to receive inventor-interest submissions, professional and institutional inquiries, and other communications.
Form responses may be stored through the website’s WordPress.com/Jetpack form system and may also be transmitted by email to authorized VetVention personnel. WordPress.com allows site owners to configure whether responses are stored and where notification emails are delivered.
Because general website forms are not intended to serve as a secure invention-disclosure mechanism, visitors should not use them to transmit confidential invention information.
How We Use Information
We may use information collected through the website to respond to inquiries; administer inventor-interest, partner, sponsor, and other website forms; communicate about VetVention programs and future application opportunities; evaluate interest in VetVention programs; operate and improve the website; protect the security and integrity of our systems; prevent spam or misuse; maintain appropriate organizational records; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Service Providers
VetVention uses service providers to host, operate, secure, and support its website and communications. The website is presently operated using WordPress.com and related Automattic services.
If VetVention later uses Crowdsignal or another platform for a formal invention-application process, this Privacy Policy and any applicable submission terms may be updated to describe that process before confidential or materially different information is requested.
Sharing of Information
We may disclose information to authorized VetVention personnel and service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the website, respond to the person who submitted the information, administer VetVention programs, protect our systems, or comply with applicable law.
Information associated with a future formal invention application may also be shared with authorized reviewers or professionals where necessary for the applicable evaluation process and subject to the procedures and terms established for that program.
VetVention does not sell personal information submitted through its website.
Inventor Information
VetVention’s current Veteran Inventor Interest form is designed to collect high-level, non-confidential information.
A future formal invention-application or technical-review process may contain additional submission terms, notices, acknowledgments, confidentiality procedures, or information-handling requirements.
If specific submission terms accompany a future invention-submission process, those terms will govern that submission to the extent stated in them.
Data Retention
VetVention may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to operate its programs, maintain appropriate organizational records, resolve disputes, protect legal rights, or comply with applicable obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending upon the type of information and the program involved.
Security
VetVention uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and VetVention cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Information
You may contact VetVention to ask questions about personal information you have submitted through the website or to request access, correction, or deletion where appropriate and subject to applicable legal and record-retention requirements.
Requests may be sent to: contact@vetvention.com
Cookies and Similar Technologies

Your browser may provide controls for limiting or deleting certain cookies, although doing so may affect some website functionality.
Children’s Privacy
VetVention’s website and programs are not directed to children under 13, and VetVention does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through the website.
